Adding this healthy pet powder to your pet's diet can make a huge improvement in the health of your pet. This is a powder that can be mixed in with canned or homemade food or sprinkled on dry food.

Dr. Pitcairn's Healthy Pet Powder
 Dr. Pitcairn has written very informative, very easy to read books that can help you improve your pet's health.

2 cups nutritional yeast (torula)
1 cup lecithin granules
1/4 cup kelp powder
1/4 cup bone meal or 9.000 milligrams calcium or 5 teaspoons eggshell powder**
1,000 milligrams ground vitamin C OR 1/4 teaspoon sodium ascorbate

Mix together in a 1 quart container and refrigerate. Store in refrigerator.

Use daily in food

2 teaspoons for cats
2 tablespoons for large dogs

Note: Save your eggshells by washing them out immediately after using the eggs. Store in a baggie in the fridge or freezer. When you have a dozen or so, bake the shells for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Place them in a blender and grind to the consistency of fine powder.

If you decide to switch your pet to a homemade cooked or raw diet, you may wish to consult a holistic veterinarian who is familiar with such diets and who can guide you in devising the right menu for your pet.
