Herbal Conditioner
This is a light conditioner, so it's great for those with oily hair. Lemongrass is cleansing and mildly astringent. Ginseng helps bring life and vitality to the hair.

The ginseng tincture is an alcohol-based herbal extract. Korean ginseng is the best, but often the most expensive. Store the lemongrass in the oil for at least 2 weeks, longer if you can be patient (maximum 2 months) The fragrance and properties of the lemongrass are imported to the oil in this way. Strain the oil and mix in the tincture shaking vigorously to blend. Each time you use this conditioner, shake the bottle to make sure the alcohol in the ginseng tincture is well dispersed.

Apply as a normal conditioner but before shampooing. Allow to remain on the hair for at least five minutes. A steamy bath or hot shower is a good place to apply this treatment, as the steam helps the conditioning process. Shampoo and rinse.

Note: If you are looking for high-quality therapeutic grade essential oils, I highly recommend Young Living. I am simply in love with their products, they are a part of nearly every facet of my life.

General Safety Information: Do not take any oils internally without consultation from a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Do not apply undiluted essential oils, absolutes, CO2s or other concentrated essences onto the skin. If you are pregnant, epileptic, have liver damage, have cancer, or have any other medical problem, use oils only under the proper guidance of a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Use extreme caution when using oils with children and give children only the gentlest oils at extremely low doses. It is safest to consult a qualified aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children.
